The purpose of  The Money Tree is to communicate to other interested parties the results of one man’s efforts to consistently generate profits by selling covered calls and naked puts on publicly traded stocks and exchange traded funds (ETFs).  The name of this blog was inspired by the author’s reading of books written by Ron Groenke.  Further information about Ron can be found on the Approach page and on Ron’s web-site, www.rongroenke.com.

The author of The Money Tree is a 49 year old male who lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.  He has been actively managing his own investment accounts since 1984.  He has a passion for learning and for investing.  He also is an avid runner.
