The purpose of  The Money Tree is to communicate to other interested parties the results of one man’s efforts to safely generate income in retirement while continuing to increase his net worth year over year.  The author intends to accomplish these goals by investing in income generating real estate and dividend growth stocks.

The author of The Money Tree is a 56 year old male who quit working at age 54 and officially retired at age 55 (there’s a story there for another time).  The author and his wife now live full-time in beautiful San Antonio Tlayacapan, Jalisco, Mexico.  He has been actively managing his own investment accounts since 1984.  He has a passion for learning and for investing.  He also is an avid runner.
